Sodium bicarbonate - 100% Pure BP Grade (1Kg) as a fine powder.

Otherwise known as Baking Soda, sodium bicarbonate is perfect for many cleaning jobs around the house, as a safe and natural alternative to many modern deodorising and cleaning chemicals:
General Cleaning - To remove grease and stubborn stains, mix 2 tablespoons of Baking Soda with 1 tablespoon of Lemon Juice to form a foaming mix. Apply to a damp cloth and clean.
Smelly Carpets - Just Sprinkle the Baking Soda evenly all over the carpet (use a sieve to get a nice even covering), leave for 3-4 hours then hover up. The smell should be gone and the carpet smelling fresh and clean.
To remove fridge smells - Leave a bowl of Baking Soda in the fridge for 24 hours and any nasty odours will be soaked up by the Baking Soda.
