Description

The Authentic Original Patented Hungarian Saltpipe, as featured in The Saturday Times, Independent and Allergy Magazine

Major respiratory disorder diseases such as asthma, allergies, and bronchitis are all on the increase in industrial countries, associated with the negative effects of pollution. Since air pollution itself is now inescapable, it seems logical that we must take care of our respiratory system by assisting its own natural cleaning processes.

The therapeutic benefits derived from ancient salt-caves are well known in Eastern and Central Europe. Polish physician F.Bochkowsky described in his 1843 book that salt miners rarely suffered from respiratory diseases. The practice of bringing patients with respiratory diseases down into salt mines for treatment gradually spread throughout Eastern Europe and whilst it is common place in eastern and central Europe, it is almost unknown elsewhere.

Thousands of people visit the salt mines, caves and subterrenial sanatoria in Prajd-Romania, Wieliczka (Poland), Solzbad (Austria), Parajd (Romania), Solotvino (Ukrainian Carpathians), Nakhichevan (Azerbaijan) each year for treatment of respiratory problems such as asthma, inflammation of upper and lower respiratory tracts, and some allergies.

The salty, disinfectant effect of the air inside the mines appears to help ease the symptoms of asthma and other respiratory diseases. This non-invasive, drug free treatment may be used as an alternative or in addition to traditional medications. Whilst the time and travel costs of true “cave therapy” are often prohibitive, an effective, clinically researched, portable alternative now exists.

Based on traditional Salt Therapy, the Saltpipe is a hand held inhaler, designed to provide a convenient way to improve your breathing at home. This original patented design is called "The Cisca Saltpipe". It is the only saltpipe registered as a Class IIa medical device. It provides an affordable and convenient way to gain all the advantages of salt therapy.

Cisca harvests the special salt crystals before fitting them between ceramic filters in a unique, mobile hand-held device. The instrument contains Halite mineral salts from the most famous caverns of Tapulca in Hungary and Prajd in Transylvania where for generations they have been used to successfully treat all kinds of respiratory disorders.

Breathing through the Saltpipe draws air over the 20-22 million year old minerals, conveying micronized particles of salt into the respiratory tract. Air is purified as it is drawn over the salt crystals and the sensation is very much like taking in a deep breath of fresh air at the seaside. The aerosolized salt micro-particles penetrate all areas of the respiratory tract the lungs, unclogging blockages in the bronchi and bronchioles by restoring normal transportation of the mucus. The particles also kill the microbes which can lead to inflammation of lung tissue. The amount of salt inhaled through the pipe is little more than a microgram, so whilst it offers real benefits to the respiratory system it has no adverse effects.

The Cisca Saltpipe can be used to complement current medication without any side effects and may benefit breathing problems associated with:

• Asthma, Allergies
• Sinus problem, Hay fever
• Chest infections
• Persistent Cough and Sore throats
• Breathing difficulty
• Respiratory problems caused by smoking

How to Use the Cisca Saltpipe

Using the Saltpipe couldn’t be easier. Just place the porcelain pipe between your lips and inhale normally through the mouth, exhaling through the nose. Breathing should be normal intensity – avoid forced breathing. Best results are achieved with daily use, 15-25 minutes per day. Repeated use of the saltpipe, more than once a day is perfectly acceptable.

When you first use the pipe it may taste a little salty but this should go after a few uses. After using the Saltpipe regularly for about a week you will begin to notice that breathing becomes easier and deeper and any coughing caused by respiratory problems should lessen.

The Cisca Saltpipe can also be used to cleanse deep into the nasal cavity, helping those who suffer with hay fever, rhinitis or sinusitis. Simply place the pipe close to one nostril, inhale and then swap to the other side.

The Cisca Saltpipe can easily used whilst watching TV, listening to music or reading book, in other words it does not require any special exercise or time allotment and can fit in to a busy lifestyle.

The salt pipe will last for 5 years based on an average usage of 15-20 minutes daily.

Some Testimonials:

"I am delighted to say that we are tremendously impressed. My husband uses the pipe each morning on waking for 15/20 minutes and has enjoyed a vastly improved sleep pattern with no disturbed nights due to coughing." - Pat Moore--Wisbech, UK

"I was able to breathe as deeply as any normal person. I can't describe what a great feeling that is. The saltpipe has given me so much relief. It really does work!" - Sharon--Antrim, UK

"We absolutely love the Cisca Saltpipe! It really seems to have stopped my son's nightime cough (allergic the doctor suspects) and helped my daughter's throat/nasal congestion, also allergic. Thank you and congratulations on a wonderful product!" – Yvonne - Greece

"I received a Saltpipe from you about four days ago and have been using it regularly. I am delighted to report that at last I can breath. Ever since I was a small child (I am now 46). I have suffered terribly from blocked sinus's. Doctors have failed to offer any kind of help other than nasal sprays which I have been reluctant to use for long periods. I first used the pipe in the evening and by the time I went to bed I found myself to be breathing freely through both nostrils. In the morning I found my sinus's were still clear and have pretty much remained that way since. Not being able to breath through my nose has caused me to feel exhausted and unable to talk without quickly getting out of breath. This product has in the few days that I have been using it made a tremendous difference to the way I feel. My sleep quality seems to have improved a great deal too. This is an excellent product and I would recommend it to anyone who suffers from similar problems to mine." - C. Lindley, Halifax
